Questions Answered

Can I attend a sound bath during pregnancy?

Pregnancy brings specific considerations for sound baths and gong baths. Please consult your midwife or GP before attending, and inform Alex at the time of booking that you are pregnant — she can advise on suitability for the specific session and your stage of pregnancy.

What should I wear to a sound bath?

Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing — think layers, as body temperature can drop during deep relaxation. Cosy socks are a popular choice. Avoid anything tight or restrictive. You'll be lying still for the duration, so the goal is comfort.

How do I book a floating sound bath session?

Floating sound bath dates are listed on the Events page. Find a session, select your ticket, and complete checkout. You'll receive a confirmation with the Fusion Yoga Studio address in Ripley and any preparation notes.

Can I attend a floating sound bath if I have back or neck problems?

The hammock is designed to be low-pressure and fully supportive — many people with back discomfort find it more comfortable than a mat. However, if you have a current injury, recent surgery, or chronic condition affecting your back or neck, please speak with your GP before attending and let Alex know when you book. A mat option is available if preferred.
